Etta James - Self-titled - Original Promo
Original American Mono pressing with white "Review Copy" labels indicating a radio station promo or critic freebie. Cover has rear staining. LP has some inaudible marks. There is what looks like a Plastylite symbol in the runout but it's ever-so-slightly different - could be a different plant or a different hand doing the carving. Argo did use Plastylite in 1962, but I can't guarantee it. Discogs makes no mention of the pressing plant.
This also has something I've never seen before: the top center of the back cover has been punched and scored. The only purpose I can deduce is so that it can be unfolded and hung on a wall. If anyone knows anything about this, please let me know.
This record has been ultrasonically cleaned.
