Young Man Mose
Original mono on Prestige. RVG stamped runouts. S Washington labels. Note that Prestige moved in ’58 so many records from that year were issued with labels from both addresses (and some with one on each side). You can tell an original in this case because of the runouts, which were changed for later S Washington pressings issued as late as ’63.
Some marks and a few clicks here and there but it sounds marvelous, as all RVG deep groove pressings do. Sounds like Mose is playing in your living room. He ain’t, ’cause he don’t get around much anymore. Cover has some tape and writing and wear (see photos). Wonderful copy.
